A walk in the woods (II)

Here are a few more shots from my walk in the woods last week.

And what a difference a few days make in the weather - last week we enjoyed 80-84F (26-28C); today we were lucky to reach 52F (11C) under heavy skies and a howling wind.

Definition of a Canadian spring: the 15 minutes between winter and summer.

While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”   Genesis 8:22

All of these are fantastic, as are all of your photos, but I have to say that I really like the dandelion.

Beautiful photos Rick. I like the shot of the maple tassel and the old fence. Spring is very fickle isn't it? It's been cool and rainy here all weekend after summery weather for 10 days.

Rick you really have a keen eye when it comes to composition and selecting your points of interest. There is always so much more going on in your photos than just a center piece or single object to draw our attention. What a wonderful walk you had and I hope there is a "Walk 3". Hope all has been well with you and yours.

The ferns are my favorite -- but the falling-down fence made of logs is a close 2nd! Have a lovely week Rick.

I'll go out on vacation and I'll travel in the quiet, nature and love. See you in the back. :))

Really wonderful photographs, Rick!
The weather here yesterday was the same as yours, but we did not get to 52. Felt much more like a fall day, and tonight we have frost warnings. :-(

Wishing you a wonderful day!

I enjoyed sharing a walk with you Rick, the photos put me right next to you... I can feel the countryside and not many photos can do this for me. Stunning shots! You can keep the dandelions over there though please, I'm taking a year off from them! lol

I love your new header, very nice bokeh!

Groetjes, Joke
